The VARC Marketing Team is made up of Regional Directors, Regional Representatives and Country Specialists. They are charged with developing and managing investor relationships in their perspective regions.


Regional Director, Middle East
Dr. Fraidoon Hovaizi

HovaiziDr. Fraidoon Hovaizi, is an Economist, a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, 1990.
After seven years teaching Economics, Dr. Hovaizi jointed the World Bank. At the World Bank, he participated in Privatization programs, travelled to the countries of former Soviet Union to provide privatization training and stock valuation methodology to representatives from private and public sectorsfrom eight different countries.

Focusing on SMEs (Small Medium Enterprises) at the World Bank, Dr. Hovaizi developed a reference manual evaluating  a variety of experiences with the growth of SMEs in the United States and Japan.  Motivation for such an undertaking was to develop a suitable model for a successful SME growth model in developing countries.
As a partner in a mixed residential/commercial  development project in Virginia,  Dr. Hovaizi undertook a successful  fiscal impact study in 2007 to evaluate the economic impact of  146 residential units and 6 acres of commercial property (total of 26 acres) on the county of Greene.

Since 2005, Dr. Hovaizi has established his own private financial firm, DellTAX& Auto Insurance, with two offices in Charlottesville and Harrisonburg, VA.

As Director, Middle East Region, Dr. Hovaizi will be leading VARC  marketing efforts in many countries throughout the Middle East region as well as managing other Middle East Region Representatives.
